We used to go to the old Thermes spa facility more than 10 years ago. We were pleasantly surprised and happy to spend the day at the new Thermes facility that has been built on the hill (near top of the funicular). Well worth a day or 2 visit. Spa is a town with a great history, and its fairly easy to get to know. The tourism office was very helpful, especially with information, maps, etc about walks in the area. We enjoyed the thermal baths, the funicular railway, hiking in the countryside, and walking around the township looking at the variety of architectural styles. There was a festival on while we were there, and some free activities which were great fun. Meals were a bit inconsistent, but we had a wonderful dining experience at l'Auberge restaurant - great food, great service, good value.Guest review byPeterAustralia

Lots of personal touches from the owner (decorations, blankets, candles) made it feel like a home away from home. Good instructions on how to access wifi, use the heating system. Very nice outdoor space to enjoy when the weather allows. All facilities generously provided - lots of coffee pods for the coffee machine, wood for the fireplace etc. - I haven't seen this elsewhere staying in similar accommodations before. Communication was excellent throughout the whole process. The accommodation is plenty big enough for four people with your own parking space. Accommodation is a 2 minute walk to the main square and about a 15 to 20 min drive from the circuit. Beds were really comfy and a great size.
