    The town is small, but has some lovely walks around it. There are quite a few restaurants to try all at reasonable prices. We particularly liked the Fish House. The beach has a small area suitable for young children.

    Ahtopol is a place of great childhood memories for me.

    Ahtopol is a place of great childhood memories for me. But the place has been neglected and by the local authorities and overlooked by tourists. It has a great fishing port with nice water and sea rocks to wander around but not much else. The water is still dangerous to drink and stomach problems are unavoidable for me. It's also a very hilly place so you're always going up or down a hill. I'd visit for a day again, but I wouldn't spend my vacation there.

    Ahtopol is a preferred destination for me because the weather has almost always been sunny and the small town is not overly built up like most Bulgarian Black Sea resorts. The natural beauty of the location has not been taken away and I hope they keep it that way. It is very easy to get around Ahtopol, the people living in the town are very friendly. The houses have well-kept gardens with beautiful flowers. The town is full of fig trees. The restaurant on the pier with the white tables is a very nice place and the food is delicious. The service was top-notch.

    There are a couple of places where you can eat that...

    There are a couple of places where you can eat that definitely worth to try. The best place for us was Veranda di Mare, where we found the best dishes in town. Another one was Deja Vu, the only place where you can enjoy a nice shisha at a decent price.
