Everything was exceptional! The food was great, the pools were clean and everything in the hotel was very well maintained. We really enjoyed the service, everyone was very polite and helpful! I would definitely the hotel as one of the best places we have ever been. Excellent for kids too!

We were looking for a quiet, relaxed getaway by the seaside, and we got even more! This was by far one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve travelled the world, from Asia to the Caribbean. I loved the intimate atmosphere combined with a luxurious feel, enhanced by the natural, boho boutique–style interior. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, from the decorative pillows to the staff uniforms. The staff were super nice and you could feel they truly understood and embraced the concept of this hotel. The food was absolutely delicious, with dinners served à la carte and a different theme each evening. We enjoyed live music on Wednesday, adding to the warm and welcoming vibe. The beach, just below the hotel, offered comfortable beach beds and attentive lifeguards. The restaurant and pool both boasted stunning views, and our room treated us to breathtaking sunrises. We loved it so much that we extended our stay by an extra night. We were also among the few foreign guests, which made our experience even more special. It was an authentic Bulgarian stay, yet delivered with a global level of hospitality and comfort. This place is truly a hidden gem — cherished by locals and a delightful discovery for travellers.

We stayed at Theopolis for 8 nights and we found the entire holiday extremly enjoyable, perfect for us. I will begin with the staff and hotel management. They were extremely kind and attentive, always trying to help us with any requests we made. The communication was stunning and we really appreciated. To us, out of the staff, Zhive in the lobby bar, with her delicious cocktails and Stanislava, the cleaning lady stand out. They were always with a smile on their face and Stanislava even spoke to us in Romanian. We absolutely felt at home thanks to her and the cleanliness was perfect, done every day. Regarding the food, we found it tasty and with enough options for anybody. The barbeque was great, we utterly enjoyed it. Plus, because the restaurant was sea side, enjoying the sea breeze was a very nice perk while dining. Another thing that we really loved were the free sun beds, as we went every single day to the beach. The free parking was great, as well. As a nice touch, the hotel also sent up to my room a bottle of sparkling wine and a card for my birthday. Overall, it was a stunning holiday for our group and we would gladly recommend this hotel for a lovely time in Obzor.

The location is very close to the beach, although it's up the hill, the rooms are very nice, large and comfortable, the pool is great and the area is quiet. The staff is very kind and helpful and they speak English. All apartments had a balcony and you could dry your wet clothes.

    Great resort, it was first time coming here and it was surprisingly good. People are nice, the surroundings are very good, great restaurants, and vacation vibe all over. Not a noisy clubbing destination but there are many areas in the center where youth can enjoy.

    We have been going to Obzor for the last 20 years as we live...

    We have been going to Obzor for the last 20 years as we live 2 hours away, and this summer the food was HORRIBLE everywhere, as well as the service. Also very overpriced. Not sure what has happened, but will not return for a while.

    The staff is polite and friendly.

    The staff is polite and friendly. The room, hallways, bars, swimming pool deck area, and beach are pretty clean. Food in a restaurant is delicious and diverse. Non-alcohol and alcohol drinks are available in many locations. Disliked · Wi-fi is working only close to the front desk and lobby. We had a room at the end of the building and the wifi signal there was poor. We have requested the front desk for technical support but with zero effect. Also, visitors need to pay for some services which are usually included in the room price such as a key for a locker for storage of cash and documents. It is important because almost all stores and gift shop bakeries are accepting cash only. So, be ready to pay the extra fee to the declared price for the room. The official rate for a taxi ride in Obzor is three times higher than in Varna.

    Not the most engaging resort.

    Not the most engaging resort. Very few restaurants, many of those closed anyway, either not yet open for the season or gone out of business. Very clean streets, even the wheely bins have their own lock ups!! Geared up more I think for the all inclusive hotels, but there are many small hotels too. The beach is long, sandy and the sea quite shallow, so should be safe for children. The North end is where the large hotels are, access to the roads from the beach is restricted by security. One thing to avoid or perhaps more accurately one person, Ivan the taxi driver, doesn't know his way around, or if he does, he pretends not to, so he can drive around running up the bill. Avoid!!

    Obzor is very pretty, lots of shops, bars and restaurants with central seating area, parks and water fountains, speak Bulgarian, English and some German , has 3 beaches which are all accessible , very friendly and clean

    We stayed here for few days during a national holiday in our country. The food was good for an all inclusive hotel, pools were great for our kid, the private beach is also near the hotel and it is kids-friendly. We also enjoyed the live performance in the evening, the mini disco for our kid and the children entertainment people were also great.

    I liked that the guest house was very close to the centre and the beach and that the hostess was responsive and kind all the time. This was one of the most affordable places in Obzor and I'm pretty satisfied with the value we received considering the 30-something leva per night.
