Beautiful surroundings, though the mist took away some of the pleasure. The cottage is very good and well equipped. The landlord is very good, friendly and welcoming. My friend and I arrived late (after midnight) by rental car from Halifax. He (the landlord) was waiting for us and directed us to our cottage. We really appreciated this kind service.

I booked this cottage at the last minute when my hotel reservation was deemed unacceptable. The owner was quick to respond and I had access within the hour. The view is stunning, beds are very comfy and everything I needed was on hand. I only had one night and wish I had more so I will definitely stay here again!

Liked the novelty of the tiny house. I could live there. Great scenery from the deck. Nice sandy beach just a couple minutes drive away. Great spot for a dip.

Spectacular view, beach nearby, clean and spatious cottage. Frank and Lelia are friendly and lovely persons. They offered us free homegrown cucumbers and gave us freshly harvested grapes which we enjoyed very much while on the road.

Boasting a hot tub, Island Beach Hideaways is set in Pomquet. There is a private entrance at the luxury tent for the convenience of those who stay.

Loved the quiet and beautiful location, canoeing on the lake, beautiful hike to Pomquet beach, the nature boardwalk, hot tub with celestial show, well-appointed kitchen, sightings of eagles, herons, deer, and even a porcupine!
