The kitchen is well stocked, appliances were new and in good shape, and the bed was comfortable. The whole property was lovely. Everything is clearly well maintained, and it was clean and quiet.

Great and special experience, very comfortable beds, relaxing hot pot and gas fire place, good BBQ, total silence by night (you cannot even hear the fridge which is rare...), no mosquitos and very friendly owners. We also enjoyed the location nearby to the sooke NP (to the East) and beaches (to the West).

Beautiful hotel on Bear Mountain. Excellent views, very large comfortable suite. Very good restaurant 1 minute walk. Great staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of activities available. Highly recommend.

    Coast line and beaches fantastic, ton of trails, hikes and the outdoors to take advantage of. Marine ecosystem was brilliant to observe, no matter what season. Not far from other suburbs to grab meals and groceries.

    Sooke is a great base of operation for exploring beaches and trails in the area. One of our favourite "trails" was the 3km long Whiffin Spit. We walked the Spit every morning, and sometimes returned late afternoon. Lots of great restaurants, shopping and services in the area. I'd love to visit in the summertime and explore the bay by kayak.

    Sooke offers everything we need for a fun get away. Plenty of great hiking opportunities, good selection of stores including a better than average thrift store and several breweries that make tasty beer.

    We picked this location as it was close to family in...

    We picked this location as it was close to family in Langford, and also, so our son could try surfing in Jordan River and Sombrio beach. Enjoyed some of the local restaurants but the traffic congestion getting to Sooke from Victoria, Langford, and highway 1 is brutal, even outside of rush hour times.

    We went fishing for 2 days. Rough water on 2nd day.

    We went fishing for 2 days. Rough water on 2nd day. Caught coho and crab. We were lucky to see pods of orcas while fishing. The Prestige restaurant served fabulous dinners. Make sure you get a massage. Easy to find amenities. Route 14 Sooke restaurant was awesome. Scenery in the area is beautiful.

    The resort is located on one of the most scenic point of the Sooke Coast. The view to the sea and the Olympic Mountain is unobstructed. Scenery, peace and proximity to milles of pristine hiking trails are its main attraction. Don’t expect easy access to restaurants or proximity to touristic attractions. The units are very private, comfortable and tastefully appointed. If one can tear oneself from the spectacle of the sea, there are huge TVs and gas fireplaces to enjoy. The staff is friendly, relax and helpful.

    Good location to explore all that Sooke and the surrounding area has to offer. The suite was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Well equipped kitchen and a lovely outdoor sitting area on a deck. Appreciated the washer and dryer in the suite. Owner gave excellent, quick communication, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. We would definitely stay there again.

    We loved everything about this place from the moment we arrived. The house, the room and location blew our expectations. We gasped with every door we opened, amazing little gem in sooke We loved the farm and got a personal tour from the owner to see all the animals, she was very friendly and welcoming The breakfast was delicious and there was lots of choice
