    Timmins is a norther mining town which is somewhat rustic...

    Timmins is a norther mining town which is somewhat rustic and showing it’s age. The people, however are good, strong northern folks that continue on with their lives energetically and with high ambition. The politicians to the south are felt to be ignoring them except for election time whereupon they arrive full of promise and shallow interest. All northern folks have strong character and will survive the indifference from the southern dream spinners.

    The bathroom was beautifully redone. big soaker tub. this is one of the nicest hotels in Timmins. I liked the location on the main road with a view of the river. Boston Pizza was next door for quick food. parking was around the corner out of sight from the main road. breakfast in a bag to go was available as well as sit down breakfast.

    Breakfast was good, quite a bit of variety. I have used the gym there previously and liked it. This time I discovered there is a 7 km running trail steps from the hotel. The hotel seems new and was very clean and comfortable.

    Location was central to both arenas where the grandkid was playing! Breakfast was nice and warm. Staff were also very friendly! We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
