Bed was comfortable, room was big and airy, big tv with lots to do on it, great location, great staff. Loved the pool and hot tub, didn't get to use the sauna. Will definitely stay again.

    Very nice community with friendly people. Ate at wonderful Japanese restaurant, shopped in very well equipped supermarket. Seems like a very nice alternative in BC to the mega-city of Vancouver for those interested in a quieter life.

    White Rock has a lovely promenade along the ocean with an attractive pier to walk out on. There is an interesting museum as well as several shops and restaurants along the prom. People are friendly, there are good shops and restaurants in the area and there is excellent public transport.

    The place used to be a delight, but is now over built with high rises so has lost much of its charm. However, the beach front remains as it was years ago with lovely bars to hang out and look at the views. If you are visiting the Vancouver area and want a little less "urban", this is a good choice.

    Great & unique restaurants in close proximity.

    Great & unique restaurants in close proximity. The beach side walking path was beautiful. The Ocean Promenade Hotel was luxurious, spacious, clean, with beautiful ocean views. It is right along the beach and had excellent customer service. Already planning to return.

    I have Family in White Rock and know the area well (...

    I have Family in White Rock and know the area well (unfortunately I was visiting for a memorial service which is why I did not stay with them on this occasion ).There are lovely walks down on promenade and pier and a good selection of restaurants there also.In Summer there are usually outdoor concerts at beach especially around Canada Day.I did not hire a car and White Rock is very easy to get to by public transport from Vancouver Airport plus getting to Vancouver itself is easy on public transport.The Semiahmoo Mall has a supermarket and several independent shops,the clothes stores tend to cater for older age group.Morgan Crossing which is easy to get to by bus has more varied selection of shops.White Rock is a pleasant seaside town to stay in for a few days or a week.

    Parking is limited.

    Parking is limited. We had to park on the street the first night as most spots were taken. The spots open were a very tight squeeze, so I opted to park in the street. The gentleman at the front did credit me for parking for the one night.

    The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Great location! The attached cafe was much appreciated as the weather was not good and we didn’t stray far from the hotel. We booked for four people in separate rooms, with one room being a suite where we could all get together to visit and eat. The rooms exceeded our expectation! We took advantage of the off-season rates but would not hesitate to stay there in any season.

    The location in White Rock was great, very close to ocean views. I loved the beautiful rose garden and Harry, the host gave me a pink rose, which was very kind and special. A kettle was there for making tea and lovely fruit, biscuits and crackers were provided for breakfast and snacks. The host gave me a cucumber and a couple of tomatoes from his garden as well.

    Wonderful suite -- everything immaculate, great attention to detail, very clean. Across the street, very good service minibus, going to waterfront as well as centre of White Rock, where one can transfer to a bus to Vancouver skytrain. Although a bit hilly, great neighbourhood to explore on foot, with views of the water. Great find !

    The hosts Jade and Sam are extraordinarily nice, communicative and accommodating. They said goodbye to us like friends. The nicely decorated property was very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and tailored to our individual needs. We are happy that we chose the Delovely B&B for our short stay in White Rock. Highly recommended!
