I had the most incredible stay at this guesthouse with my two brothers! The atmosphere here is simply unbeatable, and it felt like we had stumbled upon a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and that feeling lasted throughout our entire stay. The cozy ambiance of the guesthouse created the perfect setting for relaxation and being in nature-filled area. We found ourselves spending evenings in the amazing restaurant, sharing stories, and enjoying the warm, inviting atmosphere. It truly felt like a home away from home. The staff were the true stars of our experience. Their hospitality and attention to detail were remarkable. They anticipated our needs and were always ready to assist with a smile. It was evident that they genuinely cared about our comfort and enjoyment during our stay. Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. If you're looking for a place where the atmosphere is cozy and warm, and where the staff make you feel as comfortable as if you were at home, this is the perfect destination.

Such a wonderful hotel. Gorgeous rooms, delicious food, and the owner (Simon) was so friendly and kindly helped my husband and I set up our ski touring equipment in his downstairs workshop and even gave us tips on ski touring because he is an incredible athlete! We so appreciated all the attention to detail at his fabulous hotel - highly recommend.

The room had a lovely view of lake Brienz and had all we needed. It was roomy, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower spacious. Staff were very friendly and the service excellent. They even accommodated our request to leave our suitcases with them for a few hours after check out so we could finish our sightseeing without taking them on the train with us. Great place to stay!

    Very nice small hotel on a curvy road with a view on the mountains. Location is in the middle of nowhere, but that's on the way from Interlaken to Lucern, so quite convenient. Rooms are cheaper than in many comparable options and this one has quite a nice renovation - even though this is an old building, the facilities (e.g. bathroom) are in perfect condition.

    A normal hotel without frills for one night. The room is small, but it was indicated, the most important thing is that the toilet and shower are private, in the room, and not shared. Everything indicated in the description was in the room. The price is bearable for Switzerland. Next to the hotel - free parking along the road with a stunning view of the valley.

    The location is beautiful at Gasthaus Brunig, and the views are unbeatable. It was a nice spacious room, clean and very nicely decorated. The hotel restaurant was delish for evening meals.
