The lake view from the hotel window, with the surrounding mountains, is vey beautiful. The mountain behind is a very nice "fitness" route. Brunnen is a unique and beautiful large village/small town at the part of Lake Lucerne which becomes the Urnersee. The view to the lake presents one of the most magical views anywhere in the world. Fjord-like mountains come down to the lake at its most narrow part. Whether in brilliant sunshine or grey and misty, the view is fabulous.
