Best location in town, the breakfast buffet is beautiful with food and view, serviced by the lovely ladies in their 50s, the room is always clean and there is free bicycle rental so you could enjoy ride around the lake. I felt very comfortable during the two weeks stay. It will be my one and only hotel for my future visit in town.

Most especially, we loved the staff - Pauline was so very helpful and kind and the restaurant staff was very friendly and efficient. The breakfasts offered a nice variety, and the dinner selections were awesome. We also enjoyed the location, being so close to the promenade as well as the bus stop. It was so conveniently located in the old town and the 206 bus which you can’t eke directly out from the railway station drops you outside the door. Stefan was so helpful and for a poor French speaker like myself he spoke impeccable English and was a brilliant host. We spent a lot of time in markets for Xmas so didn’t eat at Hotel but the layout and atmosphere looked relaxing. The room was clean and well set out and I loved the wide opening window It’s a small room but the layout is clever use of space The heavy duty doors and stone walls mean it’s a quiet room and blocks out other people’s noise I will be going back for sure
