Wonderful hotel at an exceptional location directly at the lake shore, and while on the outskirts of Lucerne with a frequent bus connection that takes one to the center in about 10 minutes, with the bus stop right outside the hotel. This was the best 5-star hotel we stayed in and not because of amenities but overall thought that the hotel team had put in the customer experience. Eric at front desk made us so very welcome, I think he is a trainee but did a fabulous job of checking us in. I would say one of the best exp we ever had. Multiple times (including post checkout), we were provided chocolates, muffins and water - all complimentary. They let us extend our checkout without any hassle, in fact kept our luggage post checkout when we had to pick up the car rental. It does not take money to give experiences to the customers, that is what I learnt from this team.
