Great ski slopes, a lot of different restaurants, amazing hiking paths and a great view. The locals are welcoming and there's always something fun going on. Very nice and beautiful town. The town itself as well as the area around it. Before going there, I was a bit concerned about the car free zone, but it turned out to be very easy to park the car, and very easy to get around in the relatively small town. The views are breathtaking and we loved the location in Grächen. You have parking at the property and it’s just a short stroll to the supermarket and restaurants. The Chalet is equipped with everything you could possibly need with a fully equipped kitchen, super comfortable beds and a luxurious bathroom. It was really easy to visit Zermatt from here as well. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bedding and mattress were exceptionally comfortable. Great buffet breakfast served from 8am with a self-serve coffee machine that makes any type of coffee one likes. Very quiet. Seems to have a lovely terrace (which I didn't use as was there only briefly).
