The apartment was spacious and had a terrific view from the balcony. Free parking was close by and checking in was a breeze. The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities and the refrigerator was good sized. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room for 5 adult guests. Kandersteg is a really lovely valley and town - not as touristy as other places but really beautiful and charming. Easy travels whether on foot or from train and bus stops. Plenty of places to stop for coffee or buy a snack. Sunnbüel, Oeschinensee and Blausee are a must see. Such a cute little town to spend a couple of days in! I wish I had stayed more than a night, but at this time of year I'm not sure there would have been that much more to do if I were staying a week or something. Kandersteg is beautiful and is perfect for exploring Oeschinensee & other local attractions. The hotel is small and has everything you need. The breakfast is delicious! No fridge or kettle in the room but there are other facilities to make up for this - a small communal fridge in the corridor and the option to get hot water from the restaurant if needed.
