The rooms are beautiful, a real Chalet feeling with the authentic furniture. Location is just perfect close to the train station, shops and restaurants and also the ski lift. Beautiful walks nearby. It was snowing so it was just the perfect place to be at Christmas time.

The location was ideal to the Spengler cup in Davos. Unfortunately, the last train was at 10:55 pm and we needed to call a taxi….the taxi ride was very expensive for only a 22 minute drive to the hotel.

    Amazing and quiet location.

    Amazing and quiet location. We visited Davos during our stay as well and found that too busy - whereas Klosters was right up our alley. Quaint, with a few boutiques and very nice restaurants. Lots to do locally and plenty of transport methods to get anywhere you like - including cable cars to several peaks. Would recommend a stay to everyone.

    Klosters is perfect for hikers, skiers and mountain bike...

    Klosters is perfect for hikers, skiers and mountain bike riders. An easy 2-and-a-half-hour train trip from Zurich. Everything you need is within walking distance. Try Gastehaus Kessler for a great meal.

    We did enjoy staying in Klosters, for us it was so much...

    We did enjoy staying in Klosters, for us it was so much nicer than Davos. It was quiet at night time and had a good range of shops and cafes. An excellent Co-op sold a huge variety of foods. We only ate out once - at the Sonne Restaurant, where we had a lovely meal. Reasonably priced too. We made use of the swimming pool - had a laned area reserved for swimmers. I also liked the Nutli Huschi local museum. well worth a visit.

    Its my 3rd visit in switzerland, So this time we enjoy nature and least interested in Famous exurcions, For other travellers my suggestion, THIS KLOSTER TOWN IS IN EASTERN PART OF COUNTRY AND FAR AWAY FROM FAMOUS EXURCION, So for Ist time visitor, This place is not recommended, But If U want to enjoy nature and peace/greenery, This place is the best.

    The vacation villages Klosters and Davos are connected in...

    The vacation villages Klosters and Davos are connected in their benefits for tourists which gives a great discount and many choices for hikers, bikers and any other vaccationers. Bus and train rides are for free for all tourists staying in these towns, for a minimal daily tax. Mountain trains, cable cars etc, are offered at a large discount.

    Klosters is just the right size of village for those who are...

    Klosters is just the right size of village for those who are willing to relax outside the caos. It is pretty and well organized , parking is available also in public areas, there are several different hotels and B&B or family apartment. good choice of Restaurants.

    The host is attentive and helpful.Because of changing plan, I had to ask the host for solution, the host answered swiftly and even upgraded us in better appartment, we appreciated that so much. He answered quickly emails, calls, messages. And he gives tipps for restaurant, local event in Klosters. Very customer-oriented. We would come back in a heart-beat. California house was our home for a week, and I truly feel like home there. You are in good hands in Klosters if you book California House. Welcoming host, cozy home.

    Excellent! I booked the apartment 30 minutes before arriving (around lunchtime). Upon arrival, they key with my name was already lying on reception desk along with a form for me to fill out. I filled out the form, grabbed the key, put my stuff in the room and went on to hit the slopes. For someone who just wants to snowboard, sleep and do a bit of work, this hotel is an excellent choice. It was also very clean and is near both the train station and the ski lifts.
