I was initially drawn to your hotel because of its impressive location and breathtaking room views. However, what truly made my stay unforgettable was your exceptional staff. They say that a hotel is only as good as its staff, and I couldn't agree more. Your staff captured the heart and soul of Switzerland, and it was evident in every little detail. From the moment I stepped into your hotel, I was greeted with warm and genuine smiles. The staff went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always available to assist me with anything I needed, and they did so with such grace and hospitality. It was clear that they genuinely cared about their guests and took pride in their work. What made your staff truly unique was their ability to make me feel like family. I have been living in Switzerland for quite some time now, and I have come to know the warm and welcoming nature of the Swiss people. However, your staff took it to another level. They made my stay feel like I was visiting family, and I cannot thank them enough for that. I must mention that I was going through a tough time during my stay. It was my birthday, and I was feeling sad and lonely after a recent breakup. However, your staff's kindness and warmth made me forget all my troubles. Even the friendly band that played every night was so welcoming, and it truly touched my heart. I would like to extend my sincere thanks and congratulations to the management for having such an exceptional team. Your staff truly made my stay unforgettable, and I will always cherish the memories I made during my time at your hotel. Once again, thank you for the exceptional service and warm hospitality. *A Luxury Apartment managed by a Perfectionist and a Big Hearted Host* First, The Apartment. The place is set with state of the art and Luxury Furniture and Appliances. Even the crockery & cutlery placed in apartment is of top notch brands and of very high quality. Cooking range and all other appliances were almost new and of very good brands. All the gadgets and appliances placed were very clean & working. Apartment is Ideal for cooking meals as all cooking ingredients, More than Basic, were provided free of charge by the host. On our request, she provided some tomato’s and spices also, free of charge. 👏 Our Perfectionist Host has taken into account all the possible things a guest can need to a level of Pillow Spray/Fragrance, Beach Towel, Sunglasses, a hat, sun screen body lotion, new and all full toiletries, Pringles and a lot other free things, including Lindt Chocolates and snacks (Pix attached) and with abundant refills. The Host. She is a perfectionist and seems to come from a very Nobel family. She was there to guide us how to reach there and anything we need over and above her host purview, she provided it with a big smile and free of charge. On checkout day, We had our train 2 hours after the checkout time. We just asked her that can there be extension in checkout time without mentioning how much time we needed. She displayed yet another big hearted gesture and extended our checkout time till 2000 hrs (8 PM), much more than we actually needed. Overall, We were so impressed by the way she treated us as a host that we ACTUALLY FELT LIKE A GUEST, first time in our over a decade of international travel. So we cancelled our next destination and stayed in this apartment more than we planned, bearing cancellation cost of our next destination, considering it worth bearing. Lastly, we left this Limone Apartment with an affirmation that… WE WILL BE BACK SOON and Surely, WE WILL LIVE THERE FOR MORE TIME.

For a more peaceful getaway from Lugano, Morcote was a perfect place to spend the night. What's better than staying in a traditional house when you are in one of Switzerland's most charming villages. Manuela was a fantastic host, although I didn't get to meet her, she was always available via WhatsApp and helped with all the needs. Check-in couldn't have been simpler. The house is beautifully decorated like an antique doll house, I had the attic room with lake view, it was very cozy and also had an air conditioner, the house also have a pretty little garden. The location is also just a few steps from the lakeside. The village itself gives you the vibe of being in one of the towns on lake Como. The walk upto the Chiesa and steps down to the lake from the other side was breathtaking and Parco Scherrer is a gem.

Everything was excellent. The room was very comfortable. The hotel staff was fantastic—relaxed, kind, and always helpful. They found me an adapter for electricity I didn't have, gave me the key to the beach even though it was not swimming season (in case I still wanted to go there), a waiter in the restaurant was full of positive energy, and I enjoyed listening to his Italian. The pizza in the restaurant was extraordinarily good and it was so nice to eat it on the hotel terrace (with the view of the lake). The hotel's location was perfect, it is in the very center of Morcote, stairs for climbing to the church and views of Morcote were very near, bus station is immediately in front of the hotel, and the main pier for boats is also there. If you are coming from Lugano and Melide (probably), I recommend to choose boat for a part of the travel- it is great to be on Lugano Lake. In Morcote, don't miss Parco Scherrer- it is not too big, but it is more museum than the park, and peace and beauty there were one of the top moments of my whole Switzerland travel.

The place is really cute and cosy. It is really close to the main attractions, restaurants, bars the bus station. Manuela is a really nice host she gave us all the information we needed and also recommended us where to eat and what to see there. Also the garden is really pretty.

    You must take a swim in the lake. Near the parking garage is a swimming platform. The lake is perfect. Don't test the water first, Don't dip a toe. Take a few steps back, run, jump high, Dive in a resurface a human reborn. Months latter I still think about that dive in the water in the most beautiful lake I have ever seen. The town is expensive. But If your traveling through. Stop my kid love car spotting from the cafes.

    It is a pearl of the Ticino area.

    It is a pearl of the Ticino area. The park Scherrer in Morcote is great, the village is just lovely and the people are nice. Stroll around, and enjoy the views and the village. Later you can dine in Pizzeria della Torre.

    Paradise!!

    Paradise!! Very accessible, there are buses & trains, boats going to the center. Quiet & peaceful & love to hear the bells from time to time. & the famous scenery is just around. BTW, just want to add for the Albergo Hotel- staff are nice & kind. The bus stop is just inftont of the hotel.Foods are delicious.. I love Morcote❤❤❤

    Small village.

    Small village. Stayed during winter, so no restaurant was open or stores whatsoever. Also due to covid so I can't comment on that. Else the views are beautiful around Morcote. There's this old structure where you go upstairs to reach a church. While going upstairs there are small gardens where you can rest and enjoy the view.

    Our stay was simply marvellous! Morcote is truly beautiful and the Relais is an exquisite little hotel. The design and interior is really well done and it’s even more beautiful than in the pictures. Everybody from the staff was really nice and attentive, especially Alex :) We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

    Morcote is a beautiful authentic village, easily and quickly accessible from Lugano by bus, boat or car. The boat stop is right in front of the hotel. The hotel is in the center of Morcote. The room is spacious, very clean, quiet, comfortable and well equipped, the welcome is warm, the restaurant is excellent.

    The views from the hotel are stunning; the pool area was clean and garden was great for relaxing. Comfy sun loungers and option to take out the hotel boat on the lake. Rooms we're large size and comfy beds.
