A beautiful family-run hotel in a magnificent part of Switzerland. The views along the Goms valley were outstanding. My room had a view along the length of the valley to the mountains around the Furka Pass. I was given an upgrade to a larger corner room which was extremely comfortable with a king-size bed, desk and sofa. The couple who own the hotel gave me a lift from the station on arrival and back to the station on departure. Breakfast was very good with an outstanding selection of different bread. Ham and/or salami was for you to slice yourself on a traditional machine. Excellent coffee. One real novelty was a multi-purpose tap on the landing providing chilled, sparkling and boiling water.

We enjoyed our stay at the Swiss Lodge Joopi, we found the staff very friendly and welcoming, we never had an evening meal in their restaurant as we had eaten before we arrived however looking at the amount of people in the restaurant and the lovely smells coming from the dining room one could imagine the food being good. The young waiter was very helpful during our stay and we would like to pass on our thanks. There was Free parking facilities at the hotel which was 1st come 1st served bases and cannot be pre booked. The hotel is off the main road tucked away down a little stream close to the al train line which we never heard.

    A lovely swiss hotel well located next to the ViaRhona cycle path. It wasn't situated right in the centre of Ulrichen but was an easy walk away, quieter and a very good location for us (cycling the Rhone valley). We stayed in the annex which I had thought might not be as good as being in the hotel itself but it was lovely. Spacious and clean with a great bathroom. We also had a coffee machine/kettle which was nice. The hotel had a restaurant which was excellent. Breakfast was also generous and set us up for a day of cycling.

    Was there 5 days for cycling the high mountain passes. Wonderful hotel with very good price/quality. The staff is amazing friendly! Danke Astrid und Carmen, Grazie Roberta! Booked also evening dinner at a good price and the cook (Peter) makes wonderful meals . Very good hotel in one of the most beautiful regions in Europe. I would like to go again .     Great family run hotel. Very friendly and attentive staff. Showed us the dry room immediately for our wet clothes and let us charge and store the ebikes in the garage.

    When booking you can see the pictures of a modern hotel, but in reality it's an old one from the eighties. The wifi is week and the breakfast is poor.
