We stayed in the Japanese room and it was absolutely perfect. Nice view, sauna on the terrace and jacuzzi in the bathroom. The service is excellent and we felt pampered for the entirety of our stay. They delivered breakfast to our room every morning, snacks and sodas/beer were always available in the room (with the possibility of refills), a bottle of white wine and red wine free of charge in the room and we were welcomed with a bottle of prosecco and a delicious cheese/meat platter. Highly recommended for couples who want to spend a relaxing and romantic weekend in the mountains.

The staff were very friendly. We arrived before 3pm which was the usual check in time but the room was already ready. We were also impressed by their efficiency as they were able to tidy up the room the next day while we had breakfast. Jean Paul at the restaurant is also very friendly. The view of the room is also fantastic!

The moment you step in the hotel, you will be greeted by a most welcoming smile from Peter, who will walk you through every single process of checking-in; he will even escort you, with your luggage, to your room, complete with all the brochures, maps, and advice you need to get around Interlaken. From Interlaken Ost, bus #103 stops a few meters before the hotel, every 30min. The restaurant serves very good breakfast & excellent food for lunch & dinner. The kitchen & restaurant staff are very kind and attentive. 😊

Super friendly and hospitable staff. We had our room booked and paid ahead of time, but when the staff noticed that we were less than satisfied they upgraded us with no extra cost.     Unterseen and Interlaken have a lot to offer. We have spend majority of our time outdoors, enjoying nature. The ski resorts around Unterseen are amazing and within just 30 minutes you are on the slopes but without spending a fortune of money for a hotel, as it is usually the case when staying at a mountain resort.

    For what you pay, you can’t really complain and should know what to expect. The shared toilet and shower isn’t ideal but we knew that we would have to share. But it was dirty. We had a sink in our room and washed from that and cleaned it ourselves. Great location though! Oh and the bar next door is really loud you won’t get any sleep. But again we saw the reviews knew what to expect. We only booked as booking.com cancelled our hotel we booked months ago 2 days before we got there.
