We were very pleased with this place. It is on a quiet street with the lake a ten to fifteen minute walk from the hotel. We also walked into the main town area of Zurich and appreciated even more that we were staying at the Signau property as Zurich was very crowded. The hotel suggested some restaurants that were maybe a five minute walk away. They were good and appeared to be filled with many more locals than tourists.

Everything . From the moment we stepped into the hotel to the time we had to say good bye . Staff, room, food, scenery and everything. Most important location of the hotel and value for money. Excellent stay in a central location, close to key viewpoints overlooking Zurich. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - I happened to be staying during a massive street party outside near the lake, and the staff were keen to ensure minimal noise disrupted my stay (my room was quiet all night). Though slightly small, the twin room was the perfect size for a single traveller, and the breakfast downstairs was tasty.
