Excellent hotel - location, service, home-cooked quality fresh cuisine using home-grown vegetables and fruits. Fresh juices for breakfast - watermelon, melon, orange - mmm... Free bike rental and magnificent bike paths around the lake through the most beautiful places. 10 minutes to the city center by taxi, fast and cheap. The view from the room window and the view from the roof at dawn are a spesial love! A lot of thanks to the entire staff, including the owner Michelle, Lilly. Thank you for our great holiday! ps. and also! we unexpectedly got to a free master class on making dumplings, it was super!

A superb hotel well situated in a small village, but with easy access to Guilin city. Located in a quiet, peaceful setting, the village has many facilities and you can easily walk to the neighbouring villages following the nature trail, with no cars to worry about. Delicious food is available at nearby restaurants, all within a short walking distance of the hotel. The staff are fantastic; really helpful & lovely people. They provided us with many ideas for days out exploring the local area. The breakfast is delicious & hotel facilities are excellent. The hotel staff kept our luggage safe, for free, while we went off for a few days to explore other parts of China. Everything about this hotel is exceptional.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at an Bonjour boutique Hotel and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the delicious halal cuisine to the comfortable accommodation, friendly staff, and exceptional service, every aspect of my stay left me thoroughly impressed. First and foremost, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the mouthwatering halal meals (they prepared especially according to our culture)provided in the morning.The hosts went above and beyond to ensure that each meal was not only prepared with love and care but also represented the rich flavors of authentic Arab cuisine. The variety of dishes offered was extensive, catering to different preferences and dietary requirements. Each meal was a culinary delight that I savored to the last bite. Moving on to the accommodation, the rooms were well-furnished and thoughtfully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the comfortable bedding to the tasteful decor that reflected the local culture. The cleanliness was impeccable, which significantly contributed to the overall comfort and relaxation during my stay. The hospitality and professionalism of the staff deserve special mention. The entire team was not only friendly and warm but also genuinely dedicated to making our stay as pleasant as possible. Their readiness to assist in any way they could, whether it was arranging transportation, suggesting local attractions, or answering our queries, made us feel truly valued and pampered throughout our stay. Very nice hotel, excellent location and very helpful staff! The room is very well appointed and clean. The bed is super comfortable. Loved the shower and the bathtub, great laundry facilities and breathtaking view from the rooftop. I would definitely recommend it if you stay in Guilin!

    Lao Dongjiang rice noodles are very close, highly recommended, they have local flavors that locals like to eat. This street is a street I visited, Shijiayuan Road, there are many snacks, etc. Opposite the hotel is Elephant Trunk Hill, Two Rivers and Four Lakes, which is very suitable for walking and taking pictures. It is beautiful during the day and even more beautiful at night.

    guilin is a famous tourist attraction, things to do include a river cruise, visits of the rice terraces, tea plantation, seven star park, or a river walk around sun&moon twin. might be rather crowded in high tourist season. be aware of the e-scooters, which are just everywhere and don't follow the traffic rules. besides this, it's save to walk, also on ones own, even at night. if you don't speak chinese, find a travel guide, who makes the booking and organises the tickets for you.

    Guilin is a city and all the cruise to Yangshuo starts here. Guilin has lively night shopping area and full of restaurants. It has a lake and it is ok to walk around at night and look at the pagodas. There is a famous cave nearby. I personally find Guilin to be good for overnight stay to catch the cruise ship to Yangshuo but I will not stay longer to explore the city.

    People like tranquil and beautiful sceneries will love to visit Guilin. Also, the local food streets give you big selection of food selection. An outstanding restaurant I would like to bring it up is, Ah Kim Chinese restaurant. We like their food so much, we ended up eating dinner there for 5 consecutive days.

    The town was lovely especially the Old Town with its street market at night. The Li River Cruise was disappointing because the weather was poor. Another time I would leaver longer to book and check the weather first - but I was off peak.

    The staff here are really great. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located right by the lake so we took advantage of this and walked round the lake a few times. Even in the rain it was lovely. Room very comfortable with a great view over the lake. The hotel is full of art pieces and stylish features. If we went to Guilin again we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

    The location was really good, staffs were nice. We booked a family room for 4 adults and a 6 year old kid, the bed room was in a good size and clean. We were able to walk to the elephant park from the hotel. The Guilin mi fen (near the hotel) that the receptionist recommend was really nice and good value. Thanks 😊
