Historic Longmen Grottoes well worth a stopover. White Horse Temple, first Buddhist temple in China, was interesting but slightly underwhelming, especially with the distance from the city. But they told me that the room had a broken toilet. I HAD TO WALK TO ANOTHER HOTEL with luggage. I had 3 suitcases and 3 bags. They did help. Went back to the hotel the next day. Room wasn't r3ady.
