BelgiumOur stay at Qingcheng hegu haven was really enjoyable. Nestled at the foot of the hills, it’s surrounded by nature—just a heads-up: pack mosquito repellent as there are some bugs in the evenings. The host’s warmth made us feel like family from the moment we arrived—they even mapped out hidden local eateries and scenic trails that became highlights. The traditional Chinese decor is nice, especially the lotus pond at dusk. Being 10 minutes from the Panda Base was a plus, and after exploring, the hot springs and Chinese-style SPA were quite relaxing. Minor note: stairs from reception to rooms mean extra help with luggage, but the waitstaff happily carried ours. Worth considering for a stay in the area.
