Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Great thanks to Mr. Johnathan one of the best receptionist I met ever very helpful person. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future

My son lost his phone in the taxi, and the concierge staff was extremely patient and helpful trying to get his phone back. Eventually, the driver came back with it! Our rooms had a great view of the ocean, and walking along the harbour was wonderful. Lots of great restaurants across the street as well.

Sparkling Chinese Metropolis

Shenzhen is considered one of the most successful and prosperous cities in China. It is located in the Guangdong province, along the border with Hong Kong. Although 30 years ago it was a small fishing village, the creation of the first Special Economic Zone transformed the region into a bustling metropolis with almost 15 million people.

Its shiny urban landscape and cultural life include contemporary icons like the Shenzhen Library, the Concert Hall, and the Portofino complex. The districts of Futian, Luohu and Nanshan are packed with modern hotels, including some of the best 4 and 5-star accommodation in Shenzhen.

    It is all that we can expect of a modern city. Well designed, clean, efficient and langham staff are extraordinary. Just watch out for the bad potatoes..a dishonest taxi driver that fetched us from shekou ferry terminal.

    Been first time in Shenzhen and not able to speak Chinese...

    Been first time in Shenzhen and not able to speak Chinese was interesting. People were helpful, polite and patient. I was told there were all sorts of hurdles. No internet, needs VPN , no WhatsApp blah blah blah. I bought an esim from Agoda which was cheap as chips which worked brilliantly. WhatsApp worked as normal. I installed Alipay with a credit card that doesn't charge international fees before travelling. Alipay pays for everything. Brilliant. It had Didi for transport. Brillant. I had WeChat installed but not able to read Chinese it was not completely helpful unless I ask the restaurant staff to help. I installed Amap which is to replace Google map and it was very accurate. So an esim from Agoda/Alipay/Amap/WeChat is all you need. Oh Google translation was mighty helpful for menus etc Enjoy.

    I went to Shenzhen mostly to buy various electronic equipment cheaply and was not disappointed. There are mare shopping malls than you can pole a stick at. I never had time to visit several places I had planned to as there was so much to do.

    Visit the OCT Park on Tuesdays through Sundays for a 7pm show. We ate local fruits and vedgetables from local RenRenLe and Buzzing Hotpot restaurants. It is very easy to get around by Electric BYD taxis. Kids and families must also visit the Window of The World {expensive entry}

    A bit different from other cities in China.

    A bit different from other cities in China. A lot more practical and probably easier to navigate for a foreigner. If you are interested in history and Chinese culture, may be other cities could be better. But if you are mainly for work, Shenzhen is pretty easy to navigate.

    This excellent hotel is located in one of the centers of Shenzhen. Large department stores are only a few hundred meters away. There is a huge selection of restaurants and bars in the area. There are two metro lines nearby, which provide quick transportation to all parts of the city. The hotel offers an excellent breakfast with a wide selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. The hotel has a good outdoor pool. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. They provided us with a hotel limousine for the trip to the airport in HongKong.

    The hotel is very well located, right in the heart of Shenzhen’s tech district and just a 10 meter walk from the subway station entrance. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were helpful and kind throughout my stay. I had an issue with the currency exchange machine in the hotel lobby, but Ms. Kiana went above and beyond to assist me. She quickly helped me getting in contact with the bank and sending the money that got stuck in the machine later in my account. Really appreciate!

The reception staff were excellent and check in was a breeze . As I do not speak Chinese the staff were always able to communicate with me using a translation app. We booked a taxi to the airport and it was there on time waiting for us ... super efficient .     Room is a bit outdated but clean. Near to metro and nice Lichee park nearby, a lot of eatery and market within walking distance. The best is having washing machine and dryer for free usage. Breakfast is also good. Better if can open earlier like 6:30 am instead of 7 am. Overall I like my staying in this hotel, with connecting room with my elderly mother for 5 days. I may come back to here if visiting shenzhen
