    Buenaventura is not a nice city.

    Buenaventura is not a nice city. It looks poor and not well mantained. You need a local inhabitant as a guide because there are areas where you should not go because it is a dangerous city. It is nce to go to Pianguita or one of the other beaches. Further there is not much to do for tourists.

    Buenaventura feels like a very poor and dirty city with...

    Buenaventura feels like a very poor and dirty city with nothing touristy to do. It’s a way to get to several beach destinations in the area, so if you have to stay the night stay close to the harbour, otherwise just pass through.

    Good price for one night stay, safe area, decent places to eat nearby (as much as decent Buenaventura gets), we got a room not facing the street in upper floor so it was pretty quiet with a nice city view from shared balcony. AC is working (only on and off without any ability to regulate temp)

    The hotel is very close to the harbour and getting to the bus terminal is only a ten minute walk. I loved the pool and my room was large enough with balcony and comfortable bed, everything was clean. The breakfast with fruits and eggs plus bred was better than I expected

    excellent location right in the center of Buenaventura. just a few steps to the main center. Friendly staff. Room was changed easily after at first, it was not as booked.
