"I recently stayed at casa playa James with a stunning view of the ocean and a beautiful swimming pool. The sunset was really beautiful 😍 The experience was truly exceptional, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and scenic beauty. The staff was friendly, the rooms were comfortable, and the poolside atmosphere added to the overall enjoyment. Highly recommend for a beach getaway!"

Being a very frequent traveller I do not manage to write reviews anymore, unless there is a very special experience (in either way of the satisfaction direction). The stay at Casona del Porvenir was definitely such, which stands out and will be remembered for a long time! I could even say that this might have been one of the best hotels, I have ever stayed at. The whole positive experience begins with the moment of booking, since which the hotel team makes you feel welcome already. This feeling persists throughout the entire stay. It is not about any specific luxury of the hotel, but about the little details, which matter the most - from the nice little gestures of attentiveness of the staff, through a sense of detail in the design of the place, to a cozy and comfortable feeling throughout the hotel (just to mention the unbelievably friendly inner patio seating spaces with constant fresh fruits refill, the super comfortable bed and pillows, the different lighting ambience, the very efficient (minimalist, but effective) room space creation). In each case, the team responsible for running the hotel know what they are doing. They do it right and deserve all possible respect for it! If there only were more such projects around the world ...

Best bed ever. We slept beautifully, loved it. The hotel is super well located and has everything you can expect in terms of comfort. We were hosted by a charming young man who explained us everything super well. All the staff was perfect!

The hotel is well located and offers a wide range of services. It is a quick ride away from the old town and just across the beach. Rooms are quite big and everything in there is of great quality (bedding, linens, etc). The staff is extremely nice and professional and this is valid for all the staff! I have not seen anything other than smiling faces from the people holding the door for you at the entrance all the way to the cleaning staff and the receptionists. The facilities are really good but the niceness and professionalism of the staff is really what left us a mark!

As first timers in Cartagena we enjoyed the location in Getsemani which is a nice neighborhood with many things going on, and still not as crowded/busy as the town center (reachable in 10 min walking and always felt safe and controlled). Many thanks to the staff for their friendliness, especially at breakfast - I wasn’t feeling so well one day and was well taken care of. Superb breakfast. Many restaurants nearby-
