Everything! It was a sanctuary for me. Clean, well-maintained, nicely designed room and space (the room was also very spacious — I could even lay out a yoga mat and practice everyday with more than enough space to walk around it). There’s a self-contained kitchen if you wanna cook. Also the owners and staff are fab — very friendly and helpful :) Close to restaurants and shops. It’s a short 2-3min walk to the main street and a big supermarket right there… and you can walk to the beach in about 10mins or less. If you’re feeling lazy, there are about 4 restaurants at your doorstep. As a solo female traveler, I also felt really safe. Would totally recommend this place to anyone visiting Tamarindo!

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Great facilities, very welcoming! The staff went out of their way to help me when I lost my phone on the beach. Shout out to Emman who works behind the bar for going the extra mile and helping me.

Muchas gracias to the owners from Hotel Casa Carlota. The Hotel is near from Tamarindo, but you may be need a car to go there. For us it was perfect far away from the trouble. But its close to a supermarket. The room was very clean and we had enough space. You also have a fridge and a coffeemachine. We used the kitchen outdoor in the cooking area for the breakfast. There‘s also a swimmingpool, which was cleaned everyday. The owners are very friendly and they also give us good suggestions. It is one of those places where you can't point a single thing wrong. It's a perfect combination between nature and modern sustainable comfort. From the cabana to the outdoor shower, the experience is simply breathtaking. One morning, while we were heading out for breakfast, we had some monkeys in the trees right above us. And they also have a cat named Bagheera.
