Richie is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. There is a covered area with seating and a hammock right by the pool; a well thought-out amenity. David the owner has been so lovely and a really big help to us - our car had broken on the road and he came to pick us up, and was so lovely throughout the whole stay. The lodge was basic but comfortable, and the scenery was spectacular

Beautiful location lots of birds. Lovely peicate hiking trails. So many hummingbirds! Road is narrow and very steep so if driving expect to have to pull over for other cars passing and tight turns and steep grade.

Perfect tiny house in a cute nature place. The river is closed. You can park your car. It is cold during night but you have everything you need (blankets). Very clean, hot shower and the kitchen is well equiped. We saw a quetzal really early in the morning !
