Breakfast and dinner were fresh and delicious. Every detail, from architecture to hospitality is beautifully arranged. You're nestled in the mountains and the views are wonderful. The pool is excellent. We loved the fascinating tour of the vanilla plantation and the strenuous but totally rewarding walk to the waterfall.

We had a wonderful time at this place. We started our Costa Rica trip here and returned for the last night before flying back. You can feel how the two owners put their heart and soul into this place. Both have been incredibly kind and helpful. It is conveniently close to the airport but you feel immersed in nature. I can honestly say that this hotel is the best I’ve ever booked, my entire stay was amazing! The entire building is super clean and well maintained. Even though I was travelling alone, my room was spacious and I felt comfortable. The pool and hot tub were a big plus, it felt nice to relax in the pool area after spending the day outside. I only ate breakfast on two or three days, there are many options there for everyone, both sweet and salty. It’s about a 20-minute drive to the centre of San Jose, the drive becomes much longer depending on traffic, but that’s ok. The next time I’m in Costa Rica, I will definitely stay here again. Muchos gracias!

The staff were very helpful and smiley. The inside/outside nature of the bar and eating area is delightful being almost within the beautiful garden. The breakfast was very good and timings were flexible.

The property was amazing with incredible views, tucked away from the busy world. We booked this for one night so we could recover from our flight before we had a long drive to our next location and I wish we had stayed longer. The room was massive and lovely, the pool was gorgeous and we it had to ourselves first thing before we left to walk the Mantra trail which is right on the doorstep and was worth a visit.
