Willemstad is very nice and colorful city. I loved floating market. Curious thing happened to me when I was parking a car I rented. I did not have coins and parking watches do not accept credit cards. An old man is siting on the parking and he is eating his sandwich. He calls me and gives me a coin to pay parking. It is a beautiful town, gorgeous beaches. Prices are average for the Caribbean. Public transport is not reliable, therefore, renting a car is the best option to go to the beaches and to move around. Very nice city, vibrant and beautiful. The scenery is amazing. People are nice and friendly. There are multiple restaurants and places to visit. The blue bay area is super nice and the apartments are only a 5 minute walk to the beach. Beach passes are included with the stay. Ravi, the apartment owner is a really nice guy and together with the other staff they made us feel at home. We were invited for some drinks as well, which really added to our stay. Everything you would need for your holiday is available on the property. A big supermarket only a short ride away in case you want to cook for yourself.
