Larnaka is a nice city to visit. well organized for tourists, with affordable prices for taxi rides, bus transfer from the Airport to most of the city destinations, nice beaches, restaurants, and shops. People are friendly, polite, and helpful. Connection with other cities is great. I ate at the Archontikon restaurant and Hobos cafe, amazing food and service. Larnaca town is undergoing restructure and felt like a post earth quake zone with lots of rubble around and pathways through building sites. A quaint town which I'm sure will be great when finished. Where the hotel was on Dekhalia road has less hotels than 35 years ago. Everything was very clean and having a little kitchen in the room is also an added benefit. I really enjoyed the company od two Ladies who took care of the hotel and the breakfast was also very good. The only thing you need to know is that all the streets in Larnaca are quite loud so sleeping with the window open can be challenging.
