It was very good to discover a small medieval town away from mass tourists who are only there to sunbathe. We were interested in learning the history of Cyprus, Lofou offered other aspects of Cyprus other than the sea, swim and sun. So amazing to still be able to find genuinely authentic remote villages without them being so commercialised. I felt like I had travelled to a completely different world. Lofou is a very small town with only 2 restaurants and a couple of small shops. It’s very picturesque, quaint and beautiful. It’s perfect for passing through for a maximum of a week. Beautiful traditional stone village! Great tavern nearby with local food, the lamb chops at Kamares tavern were delicious. Nice traditional village.
Nice traditional village. I would recommend to visit it on Easter to experience the traditions of Cyprus. Loved the church and walking around the village. We saw the ILOVELOFOU sign and the school. Tried some pastries from the small bakery there. Loved it. You may stay 1 to 2 nights to enjoy every spot of the village and also have time to relax.Guest review byChrystallaCyprus

Xenios is an exceptional, friendly and helpful host. We didn't miss anything. He took the time to walk with us through the village and explain the history and buildings. The fridge was well stocked for a big breakfast, and a home-baked cake and a bottle of wine were also provided for us - we didn't expect that! This was our first time in Palazzino suites. The suite was done to a high speck and felt welcoming. It was beautifully decorated and not over the top. Furnishings and bed are very comfortable, excellent internet connection and a smart tv to connect to apps e.g. Netflix etc. The make it yourself breakfast was lovely and more than you need.
