Charming medieval Bohemian city, out of the way of most tourists. Do not miss the Gothic exhibition in the Galerie umění, featuring the altarpieces by the Master of Litoměřice. I would recommend 2 days - one for Litoměříce, and one for Terezín/Theresianstadt, just 3km away. It is a very pretty, quiet town with easy access by train to Prague, Dresden and a number of small town. It has a small, but beautiful collection of Gothic and renessaince art worth visiting in a local gallery. As all the hotels in Lovosice (where I was going) were booked, I looked for something nearby in Booking.com. I was not disappointed at all! The room was spacious, clean and very nicely furnished with its own spacious bathroom. Very small but clean and pleasant rooms with a direct view of the water, a small but fully functional bathroom, and a rooftop restaurant. It's also not far from the city, so we could walk to the main square for dinner.
