I visited this place as a stop on my way to Croatia during a motorcycle trip. It was the most interesting offer I could find near Mikulov, which I intended to sight see. At first I had some trouble locating any sort of reception or entrance. I was finally directed to a building/shop next to the main entrance (next to car weigh) where a lady selling beer and vine admitted me and gave me my key. Not much use with English, but Google Translate with Czech helped. The rooms can be accessed by a staircase in the back of the building located in the back of the premises. Bathrooms and showers were separate, but very nice and clean. Building looked like a facility for housing kids on summer camps/road trips. There was a fully equipped kitchen on the floor I was on. The room was very nice, bed was comfy with quite hard mattress and showers and toilets were spotless. In the morning a breakfast was offered in the dining hall on the ground floor. Breakfast was very nice. Staff was very friendly. What was the unexpected highlight of this stay for me, was the fact that this is some sort of brewery/winery?? They either produce it (there are wineyards around the village) or sell it there in stock. On the premises there is a place with chairs, music and stocked full of wine and beer. You pay by placing some money in a money box inside and just pour whatever you like. The strongest beer is 13%. The atmosphere was fabulous, there was a bunch of Czech people having fun there, singing and probably enjoying someone's birthday. No one nicked anything. Everyone paid something to the box on their own accord and just helped themselves to the beverages. I didn't intend to get tipsy that evening but I did and at the end of the day people said that I started speaking pretty good Czech... which I don't. :D Most enjoyable experience.

Pristup pani maljitelky i personalu se jen tak nevidi. Vysli nam vstric se zmenou rezervace, i napr.s oteviraci dobou v bistru (kde mimochodem skvele vari). Nejvetsi pridana hodnota je rodinny pristup, mila atmosfera a ochota. Pani majitelka nam navic upekla vynikajici narozeninovy dort, i kdyz jsme pozadali na posledni chvili. Snidane uzasne, domaci napecene dobroty a siroky vyber. Lokalita hned u cyklostezek, v okoli nespocet moznosti vyletu.

The accommodation is in an excellent location, not far from the highway. Since it was very cold outside, we expected that it might not be warm enough in the hotel, but we were delighted with the warmth in the hotel as well as the cleanliness and friendliness at the reception.

Pension U Tri Ruzi is a place created with great taste and flair. A great artistic sensibility is evident. Tiha Zahrada (Silent Garden) is a unique and beautiful place with stunning views of vineyards and sunflower fields, where silence and no electronic devices such as smart phones are mandatory. It is a beautifully located place with extremely hospitable staff. Not forgetting the great wines on offer.

    It is a very picturesque wine village in the region of South Moravia featuring very hospitable wine cellars and family-run vineyards as well as a diverse terrain including a ski lift. I can imagine coming here every now and then making the local people my friends and enjoying all seasons of the year. Very friendly village where I felt like at home.

    Nemcicky is great starting point for many exciting...

    Nemcicky is great starting point for many exciting excursions like Mikulov, Valtice, Lednice or Kromieriż in the morning and then you can spend an afternoon/evening in the swimming centre (very attractive prices for the pools, beer and food). Try "cigaro" - a smoked sausage. Then visit a wine shop ZD Nemcicky where you can buy wine in bottles or on draft. Tramini, white, semi-sweet, is marvellous.
