It's a small and quiet city, not much to do there, but...
It's a small and quiet city, not much to do there, but plenty in a short car distance. We were visiting via ferrata 'Vodni brana' that is located nearby, Prachovské skály, socialist vehicle museum in Železný Brod, Chateau Hruby Rohozec in Turnov, and some other things. It had nice staff, good variety of food for breakfast, prepared even more upon request. Free parking was available on the street depending on availability and also private one just for the hotel guests. Overall had all it needed for the price we paid. It is located walking distance of the centre. Very old school rustic feeling with high ceiling. Actually surprised that a room was available during the busy summer season. Staff was excellent with an English speaker who was most helpful.
