The hotel is located in the middle of a small village. Attractive building with bags of character. Very friendly welcome and staff. The room was not huge, but large enough. Good breakfast, served until 11am, really good if you are on holiday and don't want to get up too early. Simple evening meals are available, except Mondays and Tuesdays. For a more extended menu, you are well served in the restaurants in Zell, about 5km upstream.

The place was very homey which is already mentioned by a lot other reviewers. I wanna give the spotlight to the host, he was super nice and helpful, not only did he offered us his own drinks when shops were closed, he also helped us find a very important item that we left at the apartment, and mailed it to us very quickly. Bonus: there’s an observation tower that’s just minutes drive away, there you can get an amazing view of the whole area.

This was a true pearl with a very kind and helpful hostess. The breakfast was superb, the best I've eaten in Germany. We came with bicycles and were offered a safe basement to store them over night.

The hotel is beautiful in a very nice location for relaxing trip in the Mosel. Since we had the private sauna suite, I’m a bit biased when saying that it was amazing. As someone who grew up with Finnish sauna, I must say the one we had in our room was superb. In addition, the bubble bath was amazing. The restaurant food was very good as well.

    I booked this hotel for my parents who are older and for my teen granddaughter. The hosts were incredibly nice and helpful, and went out of their way to help my parents. The hosts also accommodated a later check in and were easy to communicate with. The apartment was really spacious and really comfortable, and had all of the amenities that they would need.

    Upon arriving, we received a free upgrade for one of the rooms - without even asking. The hotel is in a very quiet area and in good weather the sun terrace is a nice spot. The bar is cosy and offers a fine selection of drinks.
