I really like just walking around, there are many parks in Berlin, many places for children to play and walk your dog. I have travelling to Berlin for 10 years now and I always see something new, every time! There are many second hand stores, which I like. Every time we visit Berlin we eat at the Vietnamese Resturant Lang Xua, at Frankfuter Tor. We also have had a lovely dinner at the Italian Restaurant, Il Pane e la Rose. We attended a concert at the Philharmonie with Sir Simon Ratlle as dirigent - it was a fantastic experience. We also enjoyed the City Circle sight seeing bus showing us the interesting sites. Visited KADEWE deparment store - the food store was mouth watering... So much more to see than we remembered.
So much more to see than we remembered. We did a 3 hr bike tour. Time flew by and super flat. So much to see and do. Einstein and Hitler. East vs West. WW2 vs Cold War. Lots of history. Easy to walk. Berlin is a very easy city to get around in, the public transportation is amazing and easy to maneuver. I loved the sites, history, and different neighborhoods to see. Fall is an ideal time to visit I think. It's not an overly crowded city and doesn't feel stressful as a tourist which I really liked.
