Bodman-Ludwigshafen is a village of about 3000 people with a long Lake promenade where you can also go swimming right off the promenade without having to pay. There are different restaurants, many walking routes right out of the village. The small train is convenient right in the village we’re you can get around easily and for free if you get 2 visitors passes from your host. They are also valid for buses and some venues as in museums and castles. The village seems to do a lot to reduce, reuse, recycle ♻️ The views are beautiful and the distance to Austria, Lichtenstein, and Switzerland are short. She was very informative, friendly, and made us feel like she was hosting us in a home she was very proud of. The room was perfect with a sea view, and the private access to the lake via a changing room felt special.
