    Bonn has not been bombed during WWII, therefore it has the largest well-conserved late 19th century urban area in Germany (Suedstadt). To be mentioned also, the Poppelsdorf Schloss and its wonderful restaurant situated within the Botanical Garden, the Poppelsdorfer Allee and the beautiful Rhine promenade in easy reach.

    Having worked in Bonn for many months in the past, its always lovely to come back to this lovely city! Many local attractions, bars and restaurants within walking distance - I recommend Brauhaus Bonnsch. Alte Zoll (riverside bier garden) and the bars and restaurants near Paulaner.

    We used Bonn as a base to discover the region during Christmas holiday. The Christmas market in Bonn is the most beautiful I have seen. The city itself does not have a lot of sights but is very pleasant with many shops, cafes and restaurants. Make this your base for visits to Cologne and Koblenz.

    Know the town for 30 years - it has dramatically become worser during the last 3-4 years. Dirty, unsecure, bad traffic-connections - you see a down going down! And the people are more and more unfriendly, stressed, depressive - it is a pity, what happens with Bonn.

    We only spent a day in Bonn and we would like to return for exploring the city and the center a bit more. We were positively surprised by the long paths along the river that allow to walk or run for hours.

    We were in Bonn for a conference and because we knew we would go for dinner right after, I ran into the hotel in the morning to tell them quickly that we would be very late, they noted it and it was no trouble when we arrived at 22.00. I asked for an additional duvet and for hot water for my hot water bottle and both was done immediately and with a smile, so a big thumbs up! The room was very clean and comfy, with a giant shower. The breakfast has a lot of choices and everything is organic, so another thumbs up!

    The location of the hotel required us to get an Uber from Bonn-Endenich station, but prior to leaving I found out there was a tram stop nearby. The accommodation is apartments blocks. We had 2 rooms booked, both of which were clean and tidy, and beds were comfortable. The decor was a bit dated but thats personal taste. I would stay there again if in the area.

    The hotel is located in a nice quarter of Bonn, excellent connection to the downtown by train, metro or tram lasting few minutes. Staff was extremely helpful, particularly during the strike of local transport companies The room was clean and when arriving, heated for cold night, breakfast offered a good choice.

    It's a lovely medium-size hotel in a nice district. We used it as a base for exploring the Mosel and Rhine valleys but it's perfect for exploring Bonn as well. Free parking was very much appreciated. The staff are extremely helpful and obliging. First-rate!
