The breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly. The room was very clean and modern. We had a view of the marketsquare, it's very pretty. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but we didn't make a reservation so we couldn't eat there, but the staff pointed us in the direction of a nearby Greek restaurant where we ate very well. :)

Size of the rooms and the location, staff was accommodating. Nice breakfast selection at 15 euros per person. Lovely terrace. Schnitzel Night was superb and ringing of church bells added romantic charm. View of winding river and starry nights added to a very scenic experience.

    Aquarium is our home away from home when we go to northern Germany. We have been coming back here for over 15 years. Aquarium never disappoints. Placed in the heart of Friedrichstadt the hotel is smack in the middle of absolute charming surroundings. The private parking is very appreciated and makes it easy to visit the hotel. The asparagus dishes are amazing and the rooms are wonderful - a perfect blend of renovated modern facilities and preserved old charm that match the soul of the surrounding city. We love this place.
