Hotel Grünwald is well located in a relatively quiet area. There is good access to downtown Munich via the tram. Note however that the tracks for the tram area being replaced so there is bus service that will get you to the nearest U-Bahn station. There is a tram (#25) two blocks away from the hotel that takes you to the Munich town centre in 40 minutes . There is no lift facilities so if your room is on the second floor then you need to climb a lot of stairs.
