    Altstadt and Deutsche Ecke, cable cart over the Rhine to castle, Altes Brauhaus. Options to make Rhine/Mosel cruise (from 1-3 hrs). Many nice restaurants and (whine)bars. Live music in cafe Hahn, Irish pub and some other locations (check locally). Good public transport (for e.g. to go to cafe Hahn or to Oktoberfest). Pitty that renting a simple bike is not so easy (not so many options, no guided bike tours offered, renting a bike is usually an electric bike, not cheap). If you want to make a bike tour, bring bike yourself. Also usefull to use instead of local transportation. And borders of the Mosel or Rhine are nice to make a bike tour.

    The catles on the Rhein and Moselle were fascinating. Especially good is Marksburg. Koblenz is quite large so there was quite a lot of walking. The city centre still feels like a destination - no boarded-up shops!

    Koblenz is a beautiful city with a lot to see. Has a number of castles and churches to visit, and excellent restaurants. A number of sights to visit throughout the city. Rented a car and drove to some castles of the many that are in the region. The city is safe to walk around. Numerous sights to see around the city, such as, Basilica St Castor, Liebfrauenkirche, Deutsches Eck; where the River Mosel and River Rhine come together and massive statute of Emperor Wilhelm i, Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, Schloss Stolzenfels, and Jesuitenplatz. City worthwhile to visit with a lot of sights to see.

    Koblenz is a fantastic city packed with history, charm, and plenty to explore. I highly recommend taking a scenic boat cruise along the Rhine — it’s one of the best ways to appreciate the stunning river landscapes and picturesque castles dotting the hills. Don’t miss the cable car ride up to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views over the Deutsches Eck, the famous meeting point of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. Wander through the Altstadt (Old Town), filled with cozy pubs, vibrant restaurants, and lively squares. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying local wines or a hearty meal. And of course, no visit to Koblenz is complete without trying a Kowelenzer Schängelche the mischievous local schnapps and the iconic fountain hidden in the courtyard of the town hall (Rathaus). Ask a local where to find it the little bronze boy.

    Loved it.

    Loved it. Charming old town with lots of cafes, restaurants and the beer garden by the river. Impressive Deutsches Eck monument. Great view from the cable car. Fortress was also worth the visit. We picked up a good selection of local wines from the Tourist Information.

    We selected this hotel for the secure underground parking. The location is outside the touristy area, there is a good greek restaurant nearby. We walked to the old town and back, so we could burn off the calories. The hotel itself reminded me of flying Ryanair - efficient and value focused. Breakfast was better than most at this price point. The hotel personnel were super welcoming.

    Location was perfect. Our room had a view over the Rhine and it was a few minutes walk to the old town with a vast choice of restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic and great value for money with a wide variety to choose from and the staff were very friendly and well organised. I would definitely recommend this hotel

    Great location in the middle of the old town. Comfortable bed, all facilities available that one would expect to find. Our apartment was at the back of the hotel at the second floor overlooking a roof and hence quiet.
