I stayed here for the Scotland Hungary game at Euro 24. I had a single room in the main building for 4 nights. The hotel is of traditional German feel, very refreshing as my other hotels were more 'chain' types. I loved the feel of the hotel and if you want a more local experience then i would highly recommend. The room was spotless, a decent size and the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was in a truly beatifull breakfast room, plenty of choice mostly continental. During my stay the restaurant and bar were not open, i think due to staffing issues. But there is a pub at the end of the street and a great german restaurant 50m from the hotel door. The town is very quiet with a few shops and cafes dotted around. Some nice churches and buildings add to the ambience of the place. 5 minutes walk and you are walking in some lovely countryside, so peaceful. The train station is a nice 20 minute stroll though a mostly pedestrian path, then 20 mins by train and you are in the centre of Stuttgart. All the staff i met were very helpfull and made me feel very welcome. If you want a lovely peaceful break, with access to a great city on your doorstep you will not go wrong booking this hotel. Thanks to all who made my break fab.
