It looks like Mindelheim has some good restaurants but the main attraction for me is that it was a great base to explore the surrounding area. It's better than a more isolated hotel in the country or near a motorway or main road. The people were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was great but the service from the manager or owner was incredible - he went above and beyond for my sister and I. Coming from overseas, the owner/manager helped us organise a taxi and made sure we had our breakfast ready to go before our flight.
