    Ahlbeck is a beautiful, small town with just the right number of facilities (shops, restaurants and hotels) that provide the visitor with everything they need whilst still retaining its character. Spotlessly clean, like most of Germany, it sets the standard for how we should respect nature. When the beaches in southern Europe become unbearably hot, head north for sea breezes and warm, sunny days.

    The property was not in Ahlbeck.

    The property was not in Ahlbeck. It was quite a way away in Polish Usedom. It is right on the promenade across from the Radisson.Everything around there is very expensive. On the German side they charge €3.30 for a Kurkarte which is a tax to use the beach. If you don't have it with you you will be fined! The biting bugs are terrible. Either bugs or a cold wind covering you with sand.I got a "warning" for not displaying a Parking Disc. The warning asked for €20. I would avoid the beach in Germany. Much better experience anywhere else.

    This is great small family hotel done with a lot of love and attention to details. The owners are friendly, attentive and very welcoming. The location is superb, practically right at the beach. The breakfast is very rich with a lot of options to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our Easter break and would love to come back.

    The apartment is beautiful and spacious. It is definitely suitable for a larger family and offers everything you need. The three bedrooms are well equipped. The dining room and the comfortable couch are also excellent. You can't go wrong here. I also praise the parking, which is in a good place and can fit a large car.

    The room was cleaned everyday, Whig we appreciated very much. The reception service was very good and efficient. The hotel’s location is fantastic location. We dined for several evenings at Dune.48 and the food there was exceptional as was the service.
