Nice location in the village. Tasteful design. You can site outside if you want. Good bed and long enough. Everything is clean. The owner lives next door and sells his own produced honey. You can find it in a box in front of the house against the wall.

It was a wonderful, recently built or renovated hotel nearby the citycentre. The room was big enough with a balcony. Everything was clean. I recommend this hotel for everyone, who wants to stay in a good conditions. Thank you for the comfort and good quality!!!

We loved our stay here! The staff at reception and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful with all our requests. If you request an hour in advance (to give time to heat up) it's possible to use the Finnish sauna in the basement, which was amazing. There are loungers with blankets for relaxing in between the sauna. We were the only people using it during our stay and we found it super relaxing (especially after a long walk in the woods). I'd let the hotel know in advance that I was vegan so they had special vegan plates for me at the breakfast buffet: vegan cold meats and cheese, spreads, yoghurt and even vegan muffins the last morning, which was really appreciated! The location is great: it's in the old town, so picturesque cobbled streets and only a few minutes walk from the bus stop. The restaurant seemed very popular, although (apart from the breakfasts) we only had a light dish there one evening. (I think it would have been necessary to let them know in advance with dietary requirements.) Another time we'd probably eat there! Thanks for the great stay and hopefully we'll be back ☺️

Fantastic location amongst the grape vines of this wine producing region. Easy parking, some spaces are located under the hotel. Check in was friendly and swift. My room was large, exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed. Nice walk in shower in the spacious bathroom. I had dinner at the hotel and it was exceptionally good.

    The village is very small and quiet but beautiful.

    The village is very small and quiet but beautiful. There is a larger town just two kilometers away with supermarkets (Aldi, Lidl etc), bakeries etc. Vennigen does have a bakery that opens on Friday and Saturday mornings at 6:30am. There are lots of restaurants/WeinStube in the village so eating out or getting a drink in the evening is possible with a very short stroll. We had a hire car and found it very easy to get around to things that we wanted to see, Heidelberg, Stuttgart, Frankfurt etc. But locally there is lots to see, don't miss out on the chairlift from Edenkoben (2km from Vennigen) to Rietberg Castle, the view is stunning and there's a restaurant/bar at the top.
