The apartment was incredibly spacious and tastefully furnished. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. The host was very friendly and accommodating (we even had the opportunity to use the SJ Hotel in Ebeltoft for a day trip – it was wonderful). The location is set in one of the most beautiful and popular neighborhoods of Aarhus, yet the nights were calm and relaxing. Truly a hidden gem in Aarhus.

Amazing facilities, beautiful reception with kind & considerate staff. Location was great with only a few minutes walk away from the train station alongside being centrally located & with 2 grocery stores close by. When there was issues with my booking (The booking had somehow been put under a different name) they resolved the issue quickly & were very accommodating by upgrading us to a bigger & better room. Very much appreciated. <3

Because they did not have dinner, we could buy food at a supermarket 100 m from the hotel. They allowed us to eat our food at the table in the breakfast room, which was really amazing. The free glass of wine per guest between 5 and 6 was a bonus.

Very good breakfast served in a restaurant at the last floor with more than amazing view. Our room was really spacious and absolutely comfortable - actually a bedroom and a separate big room with sofa bed, wardrobe room in the corridor. Nice, clean and comfort bathroom. We had spectacular view from both rooms to the sea and Dokk1. The location was excellent - walking distance to all the places that worth to visit (we even walked to Den Gamle By - the Old Town Museum).

The Royal Hotel in Aarhus is absolutely beautiful, a historic building dating back to the mid-19th century, full of charm and character.
