They upgraded me to a better room without me saying anything because there weren't many people staying there. Everything was in order, he called me a taxi to get to a hiking spot (Cascada La Escondida).

Amazing location with a stunning garden and truly breathtaking views. Rodrigo was a great host with superb local knowledge. There's an extremely friendly dog, a cat that loves talking and will insist on walking with you if you decide to check out the waterfall just a short (and beautiful) walk from the Casa. You'll be hard-pressed to find another place where you can see this many hummingbirds. We didn't have a car but transport wasn't a problem at all with local buses, taxis or Rodrigo's car.

The staff was great. Jhoumy who was the lead is very caring and customer service oriented. The rooms, are very clean. The meals were very delicious, muy rico, as they say in Spanish. The hiking, paths, river with beach, sauna and watching birds while having breakfast were icing on the cake.
