Great stay in the heart of Quito! The staff was very helpful in organizing pick-up from the airport and walking tour of thr city. The hotel is very clean with a big plus of delicious breakfast from a terrace with nice views of the city.

Absolutely stunning stay at the Wyndham garden. We arrived late but a guard was on hand to help with our luggage and we were checked in immediately. The room was beautiful with all the furnishings expected of a hotel of this quality. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept in, it was so soft! The rain shower was incredible and the tv was great with loads of sports. The breakfast is world class with so many options available, we loved it every morning. Located close to the metro and 2 huge shopping malls in a safe area of the city. You pay for quality with Wyndham and it was a fantastic stay for us.

The reception was inviting and nicely decorated. We enjoyed a good breakfast with a pleasant neighborhood view. Our room was spacious, well-decorated, and had a lovely window seat. The bathroom was also spacious and well-equipped. Additionally, we appreciated the domotic lighting in the room. The staff was polite, friendly, and helpful.

The staff is kind and willing to help us. At check in we had a problem with the price because the booking showed a different price and at the hotel they asked us for extra money but luckily the hotel manager came and we paid what the application said. A very kind gentleman and smiling. At breakfast there was an abundance of food, juices and coffees. The rooms were extremely clean and every two days we had new towels. From my room I had a view of the street and the mountain of Quito. I would definitely stay there again!!

We loved our stays at this gorgeous boutique hotel. It is impeccably clean, quality linen and furnishings. Love the artwork on the walls, so unique. Loft sleeping for the kids was a treat. This well exceeded our expectations for the price. Lovely, attentive staff. Great breakfast. Location a short stroll to main square. 100 percent recommend.

the place is exquisite. Breakfast atmosphere was a great entry into the day. Helpfulness to select the best trip when I had only one day available. Isaia, driver and friend, helped me discover hidden gems of Ecuador. When in need to extend my stay with a day (returning from Galapagos), most spacious and elegant room was waiting for me. WiFi excellent: I had several videoconferences during my stay. Location could not be better. Thank you, Tania!

Every corner reveals breathtaking architecture and a symphony of sights and sounds, from the buzzing taxis to the high-quality live music🎶 Small cafeterias offer incredible meals, and the Desayuno Completo - Complete Breakfast is a true feast. It's easy to find fresh fruits, vegetables, and rich Ecuadorian chocolate. Around every corner, you'll find unique arts and crafts, and if you're lucky, a random pop-up parade will add to the magic.     Staff was always there to assist with luggage, questions, and arranging transportation. Buffet breakfast was fresh, delicious, well prepared and displayed. Room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel while visiting Quito.

    Take time to acclimate due to the elevation.

    Take time to acclimate due to the elevation. There is a lot of up hill walking in the historic district. You can take the bus as there is good public transport. Also, Quito town is higher than the airport. Airport is very modern and well laid out.

    Definitely take a walking tour of the old city, take the Teleferico (gondola) up to the mountain overlooking the city, and try out the chocolate and yummy local food. Make sure to plan for traffic when getting around, though!

    The buildings and the city is beautiful.

    The buildings and the city is beautiful. Go to La Compañia, San Francisco Church and the Museum, Virgen del Panecillo, Telesferiqo and visit Guayasamin Museum. The food is good but not surprising. The conditions in the downtown are difficult. Too much poverty and it is dirty. To be honest, a day and a half is more than enough. And you have to be careful about safety and hygiene issues.

    The hotel staff were lovely and accommodating and the breakfast was delicious. The building is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. The location was convenient for our walking tour meet up and taxis were inexpensive to visit further sites. We enjoyed the teleferico cable car up the mountain - the views were excellent! And we would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito.

    Great option to stay in Quito if you are looking for a quiet place and near to the old town. Moreover, there is a subway station around 200 m from Chakana Hotel and then you can go easily to other parts of the city. The hotel is beautiful, clean and peaceful. The staff is friendly, helpful and always available to share knowledge about the Andean and Ecuatorian culture.
