A total hidden gem! A last minute booking turned out to be a highlight of our trip to the northern Ecuadorian coast. Kim and her entire staff (including the furry welcoming committee) were the friendliest we’ve encountered by far. We can’t say enough about our amazing stay at Cottages by the Sea. Gorgeous ocean views, gorgeous gardens, gorgeous rooms! Impeccable clean…we can’t wait to visit again and bring our whole family!

The staff was excellent. Would like to go back, but there are other places to see as well. If I'm ever in Crucita again, I would choose this place again. Thanks to Ana, Maribel, and Billy and I hope to see you all again.

Friendly staff and have a free cup of real coffee, not the instant stuff that is so common in this town. Also was a present surprise to have a premium tv/movie service included.

I stayed in the ground level 2 bedroom apartment. It's a great location, just a block from the beach. The property is very quiet and tranquil. There are lots of plants, trees, and shade. Patricio is an excellent host and very accommodating. The internet was excellent, which was crucial since I was working remotely during my stay. I liked the property and Crucita so much that I stayed an extra week. There are probably nicer places in Crucita, but I doubt there is a better value for your money.
