In 2025 it is my fourth visit to Parnu, but first with aa night stay. Love this city and recommendation to visit it for everyone - first of all during the summer season or on golden autumn time. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in the town! Especially, restaurants "Room", "Villa Wesset", Tervis Paradiis hotel's restaurant, tavern type restaurant "Nikolai II" and many more. A beautiful beach city with nice and safe neighbourhoods. The lack of facilities on the beach is however strange - if you google Pärnu beach in 1930, you see some piers, a lot of sitting chairs, and places where to stay when it is raining. This time we had a sudden rain and there was nowhere to hide. You can rent a sunbathing chair but you need to return way too early and there is not enough of them. As the city itself, it is lovely but it has somewhat a feeling of being overtaken by tourists. It brings back memories, when i was i kid and my grandmother lived in a similar house. I recommend these kind of places to fancy hotels once in a while for a short stay. Pärnu is a small town, so everything you need is 5-10 min walk away. The keys where not hard to find, AC worked, tv worked, and at night it was very quiet outside.
