I found it nice relaxing area ...
I found it nice relaxing area ...I had some nice walks to Altea and to the lighthouse. I visited at , I assume , a quiet time of the year so cant really comment on nightlife but the pubs and restaurants I visited were reasonably priced. The pubs on the seafront tended to be abit more expensive but views and scenery were fantastic.There were works going on,on the seafront promenade during my visit which will definitely enhance the area when complete.Guest review byDiarmaidIreland - 8.0

Nice Sea front to walk along . Different types of restaurant's to suit all. There is a Harbour further along Altea, also you can get a tram to further along the coast form here . Market on a Sunday in Albir. there is a bus to a lot of places , The beach is a smooth small pebble , There are sunbeds and umbrellas to rent . There are some shops , we found a great little shop for clothes, shoes and holiday bits and pieces, in this road off the sea front.. nice man Road Name Carrer Paul Casals ...also nice newly opened bar called Noa on the right facing the sea nearer the end with the amusement's rides . There is a great third floor terrace just for drinks . food downstairs .. little market at night along the front with jewellery and bits . Nice resort , quiet and yet plenty to do if you look for it ; everywhere seemed clean . The food was very good, staff were very helpful and tried to solve any problems swiftly. We cycled the famous climbs and roads of the area and Albir is a good base and is cycle friendly. Local supermarkets are close as are all types of shops that you might need. Plenty of room in the carpark which is right outside reception. Location great, service was fair, breakfast was adequate, food was poor and not warm enough, no snacks available during the day, no easy access to the pool area, by stairs only that I found, no informational leaflets in the room, staff were very good, hotel was spotless in every area, shower was above the bath which is a bit outdated now, no handrail support in the bathroom, (my wife has mobility issues) which made our stay less enjoyable, there was no entertainment as indicated on their website, which we decided we would book based on the website info, this was not the caseGuest review bysandraUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A stunning setting just outside of Benidorm. Lots of bars with great food and drinks selection at very reasonable prices. We love Albir! This was our 4th visit. We like the cosmopolitan vibe....lots of different nationalities. So many bars and restaurants to choose from. Lots of places nearby to visit with a car, although very easy to get a bus to Benidorm or Altea.Guest review bykerrySpain
